auras is the youth and non- profit sector of the last poet society (tlps). the focus is poetry, literacy achievement and advancement, broadening the reach. and cultivating mindfulness through poetry and writing. auras will serve as a network and community for all things related to youth resources, outreach programs, fundraising events, youth publishng, and events.

As an educator-founded platform, our mission is rooted in giving back and uplifting young voices through poetry, literacy, education, and advocacy. This is a space where opportunities for young poets will live and grow—whether through poem submissions, virtual workshops, or community events.
Our kids need us—but the truth is, we need them even more.
